Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. XM TripDesk is built so that travel data stays on your device. There is no account system, and we do not upload trip content to our servers.

1. What we do not collect

  • We do not require registration, login, or a third-party account.
  • We do not operate a remote database for your trip content.
  • Core features work offline.
  • The App does not send your name, itinerary, expenses, or receipt content to our servers.

2. Information stored on this device

Information you create or import in the App is stored locally on the current iPhone and may include:

  • Trip names, destinations, dates, and notes;
  • Transport, hotels, meetings, contacts, to-dos, and packing lists;
  • Expense amounts, currencies, categories, receipts, and reimbursement status;
  • Notes, photos, map pins, and coordinates you enter;
  • Preferences such as base currency, appearance, and whether Face ID lock is on.

Uninstalling the App or using Clear All Data deletes this on-device data. We usually cannot restore it.

3. System permissions

  • Camera / Photos: used only when you add trip photos or receipts. Images stay on the device.
  • Face ID / Touch ID: used only if you turn on the app lock, to verify you on this device. Biometric data is handled by the system. We cannot read fingerprint or face templates.

You can turn these permissions off at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Maps and system services

Maps use the device’s system map. Pins come from names and coordinates you add. The App does not continuously collect your location in the background. System maps may follow Apple’s own data practices. See Apple’s privacy information.

5. Email

If you write to [email protected], we receive the address, message, and attachments you send. We use them only to reply, handle support, or improve product explanations. We do not sell your contact details.

6. Children

The App is for business-travel management and is not directed at children. If you are a guardian and believe a child entered information in the App, uninstall it to delete on-device data, or email us.

7. Policy updates

If our privacy practices change, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use means you understand the updated notice.
